Thank you Koko Tun for opening your house and Marcus for planning the event. Also wanna thank those who did the preparation of the food, did the BBQ-ing, did the cleaning, and etc. The fellowship was wonderful and this will indeed be those moments in my life that will stay in my memories for quiet a while.

Its Jie Carol and Christina here...so blessed, so blessed this past weekend. Everyone was so servant-hearted in making the BBQ, the King's Park and church a success..Going on what Marcus was talking about, maybe let's try and make our own cardboard testimony!! What a cool idea!! And let's be brave and share with each other. It will make our Daddy in Heaven so happy, that we are proclaiming how good he has been in transforming our lives...Don't say you don't have any things to boast about in HIM, because we know there's something that has changed in you... :)
Hope you guys will take up the challenge... So let's recycle some cardboards!! Wooo hooo....

I'm really impress on what they did. It got me wondering what I'll put for my Cardboard Testimony. God has really bless me and I'm sure he has done that for you too. Thank You God. And Thank You God for giving us good weather. I believe that you all had a great time fellowshipping with each other, I know I did. Looking at all the smiles you guys have, makes me smile too :D

King's Park: Hope you all enjoyed the walk at King's Park too. Isn't God's creation beautiful. Good to have some fresh air in you after exams ya. And the worship was just Great, good guitar skills guys. (John Forrest next round ya). haha.

That walk made me realised that when Jesus died on the cross for my sins, He was doing a very BIG thing for the SMALLEST of me, who do not even deserved it. For that, I say...

Exam Prayers

Hi all,
hope it has been another Sunday worth praising God..

Thank God for many things:

1. It's awesome how Pastor Bond talked about the Walking Across the Room, it's really a big thing to speak to us about, and as a groupie that we are now, I'd encourage everyone to be bold and listen to God, and make a move to approach someone else who might need that more than we can possibly think...
2. Praise God for the group that went to the ChildSafe training today. When I attended that training the first time, man, I didn't quite catch it, it was pretty deep stuff, but this group did real good, I think they managed to stay awake the whole time!!! Good for them, because such material is so relevant for helping a child not get hurt and also to protect those working with kids...God is really doing some great stuff in investing in your lives..Can't wait to see you guys working with God's VIP = his little ones soon...
3. The 'holy huddle' we had at the restaurant... the food was ok, but the fellowship was better...do I get an amen??

Ok here's the meat of the blog...

Dear Daddy God,
It's that time of the school year again, when we're taking all the things we've learnt or not to be examined. LORD, I want to commit to you my brothers and sisters studying hard, eating 2 minute noodles, freaking out, cramming, sleeping very little, and possibly, wanting to know that they are supported through prayers. I pray LORD, that they will switch into high gear, their bodies ready to do battle, their minds sharp (not including Red Bulls or coffee), and their faith strong in the LORD that is bigger than their minds can conceive. Dad, I'd like to pray that they can remember all that they've studied, trust that you've given them your joy to be their strength and endurance to finish the semester to bring you fame and glory. Let them know that You are never far from them, and Your strong arm is upon them. Daddy God, I pray your armor of protection over them, and as they last the exam week, I pray they will know more and more of you.

In Jesus' Super Duper, Awesome, Strong Name I pray.... Amen!

woo hoo, finally got our wireless sorted out..I am posting for da first time...here goes:

Well, on Friday night, I went to meet up a bunch of friends at East Perth and they highlighted a campaign to help stop infanticide in the Amazon jungle of Brazil..

Totally got my mood changed, and got me reeled up to pray and ask God to help me decide the extent of my involvement. I decided to join in the petition, and sent off a bunch of emails..if you are keen to find out more, please visit www.hakani.org OR go to www.youtube.com and search for, you've guessed it, 'hakani'

Well, if you are up for more stuff, I can arrange a viewing of this DVD that was produced, the internet movie premier is coming up July 13th on www.hakani.org, but since you are my friends, you get a special... ^_^

I've also caught up with a ministry led by 2 of God's servants from NZ and Germany, and their vision is so parallel with mine..

God has just been reminding me to look out and look up to Him.

This ministry might interest Marcus or Lemuel, hehe, since its based on photography...the husband and wife team are experts at touching lives with their passion for God as well as creating photography essay to communicate lives.. Again, I have on my hand, a copy of their prayer booklet published. If you wanna have a peek, all you need to do is ask...

Suggestion: We can gather to pray for this...sounds good??

Their ultimate passion is in addressing global issues of gender based injustice, and their ministry is called "A voice for the voiceless".. I was very challenged as I pray..

Guys and girls, I guess, after reflecting upon my own season of walking with the LORD and meeting these servants of God..I feel we are called to participate in bigger ways, move in the Spirit of God, to cry out for those individuals who are in bondage, in suffering, and in need of the light of Jesus...We build each other out, and we come together in His Name to pray, in order that more will be emptied out of hell, and fill up heaven. In order that the abuse and suppression of people, which are the most hidden of injustice be exposed by HIS light..

Jesus wants us to hear the heart cry of God for women, children, the voiceless, and echo His call to help set them free, to worship HIM..

I pray that in this time, when most of us are facing the 'giant' of exams, stress, and/or other challenging issues, that we may come to the throne of grace, because God is still on that throne, and we come with confidence, that whatever we ask, it pleases Him to give..He is, after all, the ultimate Giver, the ultimate Abba Father..

To the princes and princesses of El Shaddai...be encouraged, and be loved, in the Name of Jesus...

Well today is like all nature day, fishing early morning and hiking. Don't you just feel refresh and healthy from all of God's creation.
